Tryouts
We currently do not offer adult synchronized skating teams. We are accepting skaters under the age of 17 for various levels.
To determine the correct team fit for a skater, coaches take not only testing and age requirements into consideration, but also choreography ability, musicality, team acumen and parental support. Skaters interested in competitive level teams will be required to submit an application along with the tryout.

Our competitive, testing skaters must attend a tryout to be considered for our competitive levels.
All skaters interested in the 2023-2024 Season should attend our tryout session, or reach out to sparkssynchro@gmail.com if they are unable to attend, but would like to tryout.
Tryout Fee: $50
Auditions are located at the APEX Center, 13150 W 72nd Ave, Arvada, CO 80005
Tryout Attire
Skaters should wear black leggings or skating pants and a fitted black top/jacket. Skaters’ hair should be tidy, in a neat ponytail or bun. Please do not wear gloves or any jewelry, including post earrings.
Synchro Team Levels
The Alpine Sparks Program is looking to roster the following synchro lines for the 2024-2025 Season. All figure skaters welcome!
Pre-Juvenile: We are considering skaters under the age of 17 (17 and under on July 1), aiming to pass their pre-bronze skating skills test or higher
Preliminary: We are considering skaters under the age of 13 (13 and under on July 1) who plan to pass their Preliminary skating skills test or higher.
Aspire: No test required
