Synchronized skating holds a very special place in my heart and renewed my own love of skating in high school and again as an adult in college. I love how synchro drives skaters to continue to improve their individual skills in a supportive team environment. I am excited to continue passing along my love of skating to future generations of skaters.

I fell in love with skating at the age of five and it has been a huge part of my life since then. I hope to be able to inspire that passion in all skaters regardless of age or ability. I believe that skating has the potential to teach invaluable life lessons through its connection with self-improvement, commitment, and healthy living. I teach with positivity while still pushing skaters to set and achieve their personal goals.

Focus
I coach many of the individuals one on one that are on our synchronized skating teams. I work with skaters to improve their skills and reach their individual goals, which in turn, makes a stronger collective team. With the team I enjoy focusing on the edges and footwork, the interpretation and choreography to the music and seeing the skaters come together as a cohesive team.
Skating Philosophy
My skating philosophy is to have fun. Figure skating gives individuals an outlet to be creative, athletic, expressive and entertain. For me, being on the ice gives you a sense of freedom and joy and I love sharing that with my students and encouraging them to find their own joy of skating.
